Students will be exploring how they can make a mark on their physical space. Students will be working in groups of 3 or 4 to upcycle a piece of furniture, create an art piece, or build something else that will be a permanent fixture in their Math/Science and Humanities classrooms.

Please make sure you include the date and a title for each of your blog posts.

September 12, 2014: Please post at least 3 pictures of your project in various stages of "done-ness". (Example: at the start of your project, in the middle of your project, and when your project is complete.) Write 3 sentences to describe each photo. Tell the audience what they are looking at, what materials the project is made of, and what obstacles you overcame at this point in the project.
 

September 05, 2014: "Project Check-In." What is your role in your group? How did you choose your role? What have you done to fulfill this role? What is your group making? Please write about three things that are going well for your group this week. Please write about three things that are challenging for your group this week. 

 

August 29, 2014: "Upcycling 101" What is upcycling? Why would someone choose to upcycle instead of recycle? Please list 3 everyday items that you can upcycle. How would you repurpose these every day items?
