Teaching Philosophy

It is my firm belief that education is collaborative by nature; collaboration should be everpresent among and between teachers and students. I believe that students should be at the forefront of their academic experience, and should be given a voice and choice in their education. Students should be seen not as "empty vessels" that can be filled, but instead as individuals with unique life experiences that are valuable to the class culture.
